Two different warranties
Solar panels typically carry two separate warranty terms: a product warranty covering manufacturing defects, and a performance warranty covering the panel's power output over time. Inverters carry their own separate warranty, usually shorter than the panel warranty.
Who provides the warranty
Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturers of the panels and inverters, not by the installer. As the installer, our role is to help you understand the terms that apply and to assist with the claims process if an issue comes up.
What's typically excluded
Physical damage, improper handling, and issues caused by unauthorised modifications are generally outside standard warranty coverage. Exact terms vary by manufacturer, so it's worth reviewing the specific documentation for the equipment installed at your property.
